Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
