T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta, Ha. 1 We have not sent the Quran down to you to distress you, 2 But as a reminder unto him who feareth, 3 a revelation from Him who has created the earth and the high heavens 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 Be thou loud in thy speech, yet surely He knows the secret and that yet more hidden. 7 Allah – there is no worship except for Him; His only are the best names. 8 Hast thou received the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses, 11 Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Tuwa. 12 And I! I have chosen thee, hearken thou then to that which shall be revealed. 13 Verily I am God; there is no god but I; therefore serve Me, and perform the prayer of My remembrance. 14 Surely the hour is coming-- I am about to make it manifest-- so that every soul may be rewarded as it strives: 15 "Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!".. 16 And what is this in your right hand, O Musa! 17 He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses." 18 (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. 21 And draw in your hand to your side; it will come out white without disease - another sign, 22 So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. 23 "Go thou to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds." 24
