Now, behold, this [divine writ] has indeed been bestowed from on high by the Sustainer of all the worlds: 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 To (communicate) to your heart that you may be a warner 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 In this wise have We made way for it into the hearts of the culprits. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 Do you not see that even if We give them respite for years 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So do not call upon another god with Allah, lest you should be one of those who are punished. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 If they disobey you, say: 'I am quit of what you do' 216 Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 Only the erring people follow the poets. 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
