Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YA SIN. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing. 12
