NAY, but consider the moon! 32 and the night when it retreats 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 A warning for people -- 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
