The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the event that terrifies the hearts? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 The day when men will be like scattered moths. 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A burning fire. 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
