Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by oath of those you do not see. 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great. 52
True are the words of God the Almighty.
