The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 So that they shall be as scattered dust. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 they who were [always] drawn close unto God! 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few of those of later time. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And [with them will be their] companions pure, most beautiful of eye, 22 Like unto preserved pearls. 23 shall be their recompense for their deeds. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 And shade extended 30 and flowing water 31 And abundant fruit, 32 Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden, 33 And exalted thrones. 34 We have formed them in a distinctive fashion, 35 and made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
