The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the racers, panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
