The Poets (Alshu'araa')

227 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah) before The Ant (Al-Naml)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 Had We wanted, We would have sent them a miracle from the sky to make their heads hang down in submission. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Do they not see the earth, how We grow all kinds of noble things upon it? 7 In this there is, certainly, evidence (of the Truth). But most of them have no faith. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
