1/4 Hizb 38
< random >
The dwellers of the wood belied the sent ones. 176 When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Give full measure, and cause no loss to others. 181 And weigh with a balance straight. 182 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. 183 And fear He who created you and the former creation." 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 You are but a human like ourselves, we think that you are one of the liars. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said: My Lord knows best what you do. 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 190 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 191
