▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 This is indeed the noble Qur’an. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 None touch it except the purified. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 He shall have an entertainment of boiling water, 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
