3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 He then began striking them with his right hand, unseen by the people. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among the offspring of the two some did good and some plainly wronged themselves. 113
