Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
