Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives a little, and then grudgingly? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that it is He (Allah) Who causes death and gives life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 [Nay,] but prostrate yourselves before God, and worship [Him alone]! ۩ 62
