The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who hath created, and further, given order and proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
