Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
HAS THERE COME unto thee the tiding of the Overshadowing Event? 1 Some faces, that Day, will be humiliated, 2 Toiling, weary, 3 (Yet) Going into the blazing fire. 4 Given water from the boiling spring to drink. 5 no food for them except thorny plants 6 Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger. 7 (Whereas other) faces on that Day will be joyful, 8 and pleased with the result of their deeds in the past. 9 in a Garden on high, 10 wherein they will not hear any vain talk. 11 In it is a flowing spring. 12 therein uplifted couches 13 Goblets placed (ready), 14 And cushions ranged! 15 And linen spread out. 16 Look they not at the camels, how they are created? 17 And the heaven, how it is reared aloft, 18 and how the mountains were firmly fixed? 19 and on the earth, how it is spread out? 20 So render good counsel, for you are simply required to counsel, 21 You are not a warden over them, 22 Except whoever turns away and disbelieves – 23 Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment. 24 Surely to Us is their return; 25 and verily, It is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
