Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up (the good things of this world) diverts you (from the more serious things), 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
