Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 except for those who stealthily try to listen to the heavens, but who are chased away by a bright flame. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
