Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify God. He is Majestic and All-wise. 1 His is the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He giveth life and He causeth to die; and He is over everything Potent. 2 He is the First, the Last, the Manifest, and the Unseen and He knows all things. 3 He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then established Himself on the Throne. He knows all that enters the earth and all that comes forth from it, and all that comes down from the heaven and all that goes up to it. He is with you wherever you are. Allah sees all that you do. 4 To Him belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and unto Him all matters are returned. 5 He causeth the night to pass into the day, and He causeth the day to pass into the night, and He is knower of all that is in the breasts. 6 Have faith in God and His Messenger and spend for His cause out of what is entrusted to you. Those who believe and spend for the cause of God will have a great reward. 7 And why should you not believe in God, seeing that the Apostle calls you to believe in [Him who is] your Sustainer, and [seeing that] He has taken a pledge from you? [Why should you not believe in Him] if you are able to believe [in anything]? 8 It is He who sends down upon His Servant [Muhammad] verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful. 9 How is it with you, that you expend not in the way of God, and to God belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Not equal is he among you who spent, and who fought before the victory; those are mightier in rank than they who spent and fought afterwards; and unto each God has promised the reward most fair; and God is aware of the things you do. 10
