And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Surely your Lord is the Creator of all things, the Knowing. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 Do not even cast your eyes towards the worldly goods We have granted to different kinds of people, nor grieve over the state they are in, but turn your loving attention to the believers instead, 88 And say: Surely I am the plain warner. 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 those who had split up their Qur'an into pieces. 91 So, by your Lord (O Muhammad SAW), We shall certainly call all of them to account. 92 As to what they did. 93 Therefore proclaim openly (Allah's Message Islamic Monotheism) that which you are commanded, and turn away from Al-Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, and disbelievers, etc. - see V. 2:105). 94 Truly! We will suffice you against the scoffers. 95 Those who set up another god with Allah; so they shall soon know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 Exalt with the praise of your Lord and be one of those who prostrate. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
