We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night.
