And remember Our servant Job: when he cried to his Lord: “Behold, Satan has afflicted me with much hardship and suffering.” 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 Verily, We did choose them by granting them (a good thing, i.e.) the remembrance of the home [in the Hereafter and they used to make the people remember it, and also they used to invite the people to obey Allah and to do good deeds for the Hereafter]. 46 And behold, in Our sight they were indeed among the elect, the truly good! 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhu'l-Kifl. Every one of them is among the best. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell; they shall enter it, so evil is the resting-place. 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
