۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 So it was; and We made the Descendants of Israel its inheritors. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
