The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 By the angels driving away. 2 and conveying [to all the world] a reminder: 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 and when they are reminded [of the truth,] they refuse to take it to heart; 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21
