And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
