Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 When he fled on the laden ship, 140 And then they cast lots and he was the one who lost, 141 Then a fish swallowed him, and he was blameworthy. 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 And We sent him to [his people of] a hundred thousand or more. 147 And they believed, therefor We gave them comfort for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad): Hath thy Lord daughters whereas they have sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 And indeed they (Arab pagans) used to say; 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 Then for Our punishment are they impatient? 176 But when it shall descend in their court, evil shall then be the morning of the warned ones. 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Exaltations be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that they describe! 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
