Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the swift scatterers 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 and execute the great task of apportioning (rainfall): 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 By the heaven full of paths. 7 surely you are at variance (about the Hereafter); 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 who are steeped in ignorance and heedlessness. 11 They ask: when is the Day of Requital coming? 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 [But,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves amid gardens and springs, 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 and sharing their possessions with the beggars and the deprived. 19 On the earth are signs for those of assured Faith, 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking. 23
