Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
