T H (Taa Haa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha. 1 We have not sent down to you the Qur'an that you be distressed 2 but as a reminder to he who fears. 3 A revelation from Him who created the earth and the high ascending skies, 4 The ever-merciful, established on the throne (of authority). 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 Whether you speak out aloud (or in a low voice), He knows what is said secretly, and even that which is most hidden. 7 Allah, there is no god except He. To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. 8 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 And when he reached it, he was called by name: O Moses! 11 “Indeed I am your Lord, therefore take off your shoes; indeed you are in the holy valley of Tuwa!” 12 I have chosen you. Therefore, listen to what shall be revealed. 13 Verily I am Allah. There is no god beside Me. So serve Me and establish Prayers to remember Me. 14 Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve). 15 Let not the unbelievers who follow their vain desires make you forget the Day of Judgment, lest you will perish." 16 What is that, Moses, thou hast in thy right hand?' 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 He said: Cast it down, O Musa! 19 and he cast it down, and behold it was a serpent sliding. 20 (Allah) said, "Seize it, and fear not: We shall return it at once to its former condition".. 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 So We would show thee some of Our greatest signs. 23 “Go to Firaun, he has rebelled.” 24
