The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 surely, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
