Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Will be the food of the Sinful,- 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 like water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 Taste thou! thou art indeed mighty, honoured! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They will never taste death therein except the first death (of this world), and He will save them from the torment of the blazing Fire, 56 a bounty from thy Lord; that is the mighty triumph. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
