And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
