Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 and the severally severing 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 excusing or warning, 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 until an appointed time? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
