Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 when the tombs are overthrown, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 Verify there are for you guardians, 10 noble recorders, 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah. 19
