Al-Baqarah 5 of 40
O CHILDREN of Israel! Remember those blessings of Mine with which I graced you, and fulfil your promise unto Me, [whereupon] I shall fulfil My promise unto you; and of Me, of Me stand in awe! 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve it. Do not sell My verses for a little price and fear Me. 41 And do not confound the truth with vanity, and do not conceal the truth wittingly. 42 And keep the (obligatory) prayer established, and pay the charity, and bow your heads with those who bow (in prayer). 43 ۞ Command ye mankind to piety and forget yourselves, the while ye read the Book! Understand then ye not! 44 Seek you help in patience and prayer, for grievous it is, save to the humble 45 Who know that they shall meet their Lord and that they shall return to Him. 46
