ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 when fetters will be placed around their necks and chains will drag them 71 In the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire. 72 It will then be asked of them: 'Where are those whom you associated, 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return. 77 We sent Messengers before thee; of some We have related to thee, and some We have not related to thee. It was not for any Messenger to bring a sign, save by God's leave. When God's command comes, justly the issue shall be decided; then the vain-doers shall be lost. 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
