Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 abounding in branches -- 48 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 62 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In them are goodly things, beautiful ones. 70 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 71 houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 Untouched by any man or jinn, before them. 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Majesty and Glory. 78

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
