The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence 2 (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt; 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 The third to the fore shall be the foremost. 10 Those! they shall be the brought nigh, 11 In the gardens of bliss. 12 a good many of those of olden times, 13 And a few from the latter. 14 Seated on couches wrought in gold and encrusted with precious stones, 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 Bird meats that they relish, 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Therein they hear no vain or sinful discourse. 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 and acacias flower-clad, 29 And extended shade, 30 And water gushing, 31 and fruits abounding 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And raised couches. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 We have made them virgins, 36 Beloved (by nature), equal in age,- 37 For those of the right hand. 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
