The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
