Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 We shall cleanse their hearts of all traces of ill-will; they will be like brethren seated on couches facing one another. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that it is My punishment which is the painful punishment. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 (How) when they came in unto him, and said: Peace. He said: Lo! we are afraid of you. 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "And who despairs of the Mercy of his Lord except those who are astray?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
