T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta-Ha.* (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals know their precise meanings.) 1 We have not revealed the Quran to you that you may be unsuccessful. 2 But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens. 4 the Merciful willed to the Throne. 5 Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, and whatsoever is between them, and whatsoever is beneath the sod. 6 And if thou speakest aloud, then lo! He knoweth the secret (thought) and (that which is yet) more hidden. 7 God, there is no deity but Him. His are the most excellent names. 8 Has the story of Moses come to you? 9 Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." 10 But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 I have chosen you. So listen to what is being revealed. 13 Verily I! I am Allah! no God there is but I; so worship Me, and establish prayer for My remembrance. 14 "Verily, the Hour is coming and My Will is to keep it hidden that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives. 15 So do not let those who do not believe in it and follow their vain desires, turn you away from it. 16 The Lord asked, "Moses, what is in your right hand?" 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 Said He: "Throw it down, O Moses!" 19 He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. 20 God said, "Take hold of it, and have no fear: We shall return it to its former state. 21 Put your hand under your armpit: it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This shall be another sign. 22 so that We might make thee aware of some of Our greatest wonders. 23 Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed." 24
