Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 "My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)." 94 And verily to shew them that wherewith We threaten them We are surely Able. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say: My Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from suggestions of the evil ones, 97 “And my Lord, (I seek) Your refuge from their coming to me.” 98 [For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He saith: Begone therein, and speak not unto Me. 108 Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!" 109 But you took them for a mockery until they made you forget My remembrance and you used to laugh at them. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, so that they, and they alone, are triumphant." 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They shall say, 'We have tarried a day, or part of a day; ask the numberers!' 113 He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known! 114 Did you, then, think that We created you in mere idle play, and that you would not have to return to Us?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
