The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
