Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 Lo! would that ye knew now with the surety of knowledge! 5 you would see the fire of Hell. 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 then you shall be questioned that day concerning true bliss. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
