The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
