Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
