The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood: 2 Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,- 3 Who taught by the pen - 4 Has taught man that which he knew not. 5 No indeed; surely Man waxes insolent, 6 for he believes himself to be self-sufficient. 7 Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 A votary when he (turns) to pray? 10 Have you thought, if he had been on guidance 11 Or enjoined guarding (against evil)? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 Does he, then, not know that God sees [all]? 14 Nay, but if he cease not We will seize him by the forelock - 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), 17 We shall call the guards of Hell. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
