We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
