The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And the promised day, 2 And the witness and the witnessed, 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 Of fire fuel-fed, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believers, men and women, and then have not repented, there awaits them the chastisement of Gehenna, and there awaits them the chastisement of the burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 It is He who originates and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, and the Loving. 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 The Doer of whatever He wants. 16 Have you not heard about the stories of the armies 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
